8x10x3/4” original acrylic painting on canvas

In October, my mom came for a visit and we went for a great hike around a local state park with my two little girls. The highlight of the hike for me, was probably the sweetest little fawn who was bedded down right off of the trail. Those big ole ears were sticking straight out and its eyes followed our every move. Not once did the baby deer get up or run away, nor did it stop staring at us until we were out of sight. I imagined it’s mother had told it to stay put until she returned. So so sweet.

I think this painting would be the most adorable addition to a little one’s room (what a fabulous way to begin collecting original art!).
