Inspired by my friend, Cathy’s beautiful photo in Charleston, SC (follow her on instagram @charleston.girl), the gorgeous clouds in this painting get a double showcase in the water’s reflection. They reminded me of a time, when I was staring at the sky while thinking/praying and I had this deep sense that God was telling me that my life was about to change as quickly as the clouds I was gazing upon. And my life did indeed change dramatically, from a decade of single mothering to marriage, three miscarriages but also three more beautiful, healthy children and the most amazing career shift. These changes came with great challenges as well as great joy, but throughout these years what never wavered was the faithfulness of God.
