As I worked on this piece, I kept thinking about the richness of our journeys and the goodness of God, about how we don’t know why lies around the bends or in the shadows but are given light for the next steps. I thought about how changes in season are such a gift even amongst unknowns —each vibrant color, like a little package representing the people we meet and the experiences we have: a conversation here, an amazing sunrise there.
