8x10x3/4” original acrylic painting on canvas

This series of paintings was inspired by photos my friend, Ansley of Turner and Moss Curated Goods, took a few years ago.  It was a time when I was really in love with painting still lives like never before. Her styled images were and are so inspiring and absolutely make me think of a season where temperatures cool and sitting on the porch in the morning feels better than ever. But, not just porch times alone, rather, I think of occasions where you invite over your friends for brunch or dinner (with a good shrimp cocktail included, of course).  Hooray for cooler weather, homey collections and times with friends.
